A customer bought this phone in, needing it to be fixed as a top priority!

The power button had been hit hard, which had sheared off the miniature switch from the internal circuit board. I don’t have the necessary tools to repair this type of problem (and there wasn’t time to order them) so an external switch was wired up to get the phone back up and working.
Clearly this isn’t a long-term solution and it’s not the sort of repair I would have wanted to do, but it gets someone out of trouble!
