A  DVB610 / T835 Freeview set-top box with two faults

Firstly, the unit runs for 10 minutes, and then powers off. A new 12v power supply is the answer to this (apparently this is a common fault for this particular model)

Secondly, the unit is showing that the hard disk is not recognised. A replacement hard disk was fitted (the photo shows the disk cabled-up to test whether the disk is actually faulty or not)

Cost was £25 for parts, plus £15 labour

Tuning the receiver after the new disk has been fitted
