Laptop not charging

packardbellbrokenplug1A Packard Bell “dot s” laptop which wouldn’t charge, or run from mains power.

First thing was to try another power supply, but the problem persisted.

Opening the case and looking at the power socket, you can see that one of the wires has become loose. Solution was to re-solder the wire.

All working and returned to customer after a quick clean. Charged £10 + travel costs
